Hannah Whiteley and her father Pete being interviewed by the BBCExPix media and Pr Team, once again proved their worth in providing media opportunities for their team members when we joined the BBC today, as they filmed ExPix's sponsored rider Hannah Whiteley and Dad, Pete.
After receiving a call from the BBC who were following up previous contact from ExPix, we arranged for Hannah and Pete to meet with the film crew and BBC North West Tonight Presenter, Stuart Pollitt, on Hannah’s training ground in Lytham St Annes.

Following a morning of interviews and filming the duo in action, which also saw ExPix’s cameraman Ian Edmondson take to the water using the HD  GoPro, courtesy of Madison, to get some close up action shots; the footage will be shown on the BBC’s news program, North West Tonight at 18.30 this evening.
Hannah, who is on the ExPix Athlete Management Programme first met up with the BBC at Stockport Town Hall earlier this year when she receive the Sports Personality of the Year Award, following a nomination by ExPix, MC on the night, BBC Presenter Gordon Burns, later interviewed Hannah for his BBC Radio Manchester show and the BBC have shown interest in following Hannah’s progress throughout 2013.

And here's a clip from the news programme.

UPDATE!

After a meeting with the BBC yesterday they confirmed that viewing figures for this programme that Hannah featured in was 800,000 - 1,000,000; not bad for a little session in Lytham!
