Shefield Cable and Waterski hosted the second round of their Ten Feet high Series. We were there to catch the action of the biggest Cable competition in the UK .....probably !
With 84 competitors we believe that this is the biggest wakeboarding comp in the UK. A Mass of rookies swelled the numbers with over 30% of the competitors in this category. A healthy number of Ladies also added to the growth of this ' local ' cable competion.
As we have said before Sheffield Cable Waterski centre is a very friendly and accomodating place to go. Its great for beginners (of any age ) families pro's infact almost any genre you could care to mention, but on their event days the support for this family run business shows through.
The level of riding at this latest tournament also showed an improvement, possibly down to no wind or just sheer progression by the riders who took part. Massive airs, a multitude of inverts and just the overall vibe of lets have a go all made for a great days entertainment.
Special mentions though must go out to Tom Bowles with his fashion air so funny !!!. CK with his 9's ... awesome and Adam Walker with an absolutely massive tantrum which took the big air comp. Shame that the heavens had opened and we were hiding our cameras at that point.
Here are a few pics from the event
